It has a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.

It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as good. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys and fallen books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's simple to install and is effective, but it's something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners looking to purchase a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

It then uses this information to clean effectively and efficiently. This ensures an even and thorough clean, while also being relatively quick.

It was relatively quiet and even had some pleasant jingles that let you know when it was beginning or finishing its work.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules each time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app isn't able to contain multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want a smart robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin and a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad except for the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market that is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
