World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase 3% of its previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item level upgrade's level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them. The item must be at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and can't be used multiple times or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear from the ascended, or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with less Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals each.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher tier version of an item will be available during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even if they are unsure what will be improved following an update.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly, and there is a high risk that the item may be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, and include any existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible to level 15.

In the final game you'll often discover that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values that it can improve a stat by, and the value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with another Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts a specific set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is Best item upgrade to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but also consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to boost the effectiveness of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of upgrade item (Read More Here) Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrade an item it will be replaced with the new item. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also has its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that it could make the item upgrader kit more expensive if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will come with an initial level and a completely different set of bonus bonuses. This can be beneficial but it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, allowing the player to customize their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item can be very valuable in PvP, as an item that is properly rolled it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

If an item is not upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as crit chance, attack damage, or additional effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the cost mentioned above.
