Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are essential in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum mop cleaner robot cleaner, so it is naturally packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, a variety of small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. Additionally the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be emptied as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum cleaner vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map the space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
