The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through an efficient.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop rotates at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to install and is effective however this is something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other best robot cleaner vacuums in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home tidy without spending too much time on chores. Its powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean house with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it is able to handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two modules which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module which is equipped with a microfiber pad. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping however it does mean you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect specific areas of your home from being swept with mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at picking up hair from pets. It was able capture an enormous amount of hair that our cats shed, and even found its way into the nooks and crevices of our stairs which other robots struggled. It was quiet and had some pleasant jingles that indicated when it was starting or finished its work.

Its main drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which could be a hassle if you have a home with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can best automatic vacuum cleaner and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot hoover and mop vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have some unique features which make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has a couple of buttons for control, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on a child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to detect obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck when it gets caught in a hazard, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. While it was not common but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another possible issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxy units.
